We are your Cabin Hosts, Mike and Cate, and have been active in the short term rental community since 2012. Around that time, while living in South Florida, we discovered the Asheville area and loved spending our vacation time renting cabins in the surrounding mountains. The beautiful Blue Ridge mountains drew us in and we made it our goal to find a way to put down roots. In 2016, we purchased our very own cabin in Chimney Rock, NC with the idea of creating a peaceful, relaxing space for a retreat in the mountains and try our hand at short term renting. Two years later, we custom built a log cabin in nearby Lake Lure, applying the great feedback from our guests about what they seek out when staying at a cabin in the mountains. Most recently, we custom designed and built a private cottage in South Asheville, minutes from Asheville Airport and in the heart of countless hiking trails and awesome breweries! We put our heart and soul into each of the properties and it is our mission to ensure our guests trust us to provide a clean, comfortable space for their holiday. We've had the great fortune of hosting such wonderful guests who share stories of engagements, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, etc. all celebrated at the Cabin Hosts cabins.
